CM Buzdar inaugurates mobile police Khidmat Markaz program
CM Buzdar said Khidmat Marakaz will provide various services including driving licence renewal.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday inaugurated the police Khidmat Markaz program for 36 districts in the province while also inaugurating the police Khidmat Markaz at the Greater Iqbal Park.

Addressing at the Greater Iqbal Park, CM Buzdar asserted that citizens visiting service centres for documents should not be afflicted with multiple visits. He also emphasized on the availability of stamp papers along with idea of setting up Bank of Punjab (BoP) counters at the service centres.
Addressing the ceremony, he announced to set up similar centers in all thirty-six districts of the province and in the next phase extending its scope from district to tehsil level in future.
CM Punjab said that under the National Action Plan (NAP), the Punjab police is fully committed in its anti-terror war. He said that all the compensation amount of the bereaved families of the martyrs of the police has been paid, as per reported by Radio Pakistan.
CM Buzdar said that six million people have taken benefit from these Khidmat centers so far. He added that a quota for the police personnel has been reserved in the PM Housing Scheme whereas he also observed the mobile Khidmat centers and reviewed the facilities available in it.

He went on saying that they look to expand the scope of police and mobile police service centers while ensuring the provision of first information report (FIR) copy and various services including provisional character certificate, renewal of driving licence, tenant registration etc at the centres.

He further added that they are providing facilities to people at their doorsteps with these service centres, whereas they also encouraged Khidmat Markaz to provide driving licenses and other services to the people.
