Pak-India Track-II dialogue begins in Islamabad on July 12

The second round of Track-II dialogue would be held in New Delhi.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The first round of Track-II dialogue between Pakistan and India will begin in Islamabad on Friday (July 12).

The delegations from the nuclear-arch rivals will attend the dialogues which would continue for two days. The officials from Foreign Office will also attend the dialogues.

The second round of Track-II dialogue would be held in New Delhi.

The Track-II dialogue between Pakistan and India is being organized by Regional Peace Institute (RPI). This would be the first dialogues between two countries after tensions rose in February.

Regional Peace Institute (RPI) head Rauf Hassan said that Track-II diplomacy is the first step to improve relations between the governments of both the countries and the main objective of the talks is to bring youth of the two countries to peace.

He said that working sessions would be held between the two countries to access relation between the two countries on the first day, adding that former ambassadors will also participate in the talks.
