The government is committed to help the departments to stand on their own feet, said Firdous.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Tuesday has said reforms are being carried out in institutions under the vision of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.

In a tweet, Dr Firdous said that strong institutions are inevitable to achieve stability and sustainable development in the country, adding that the government is committed to help the departments to stand on their own feet.

Earlier, Firdous Ashiq Awan had said ‘Naya’ [new] Pakistan is a name of supremacy of constitution and law.

Those who had subjected it are facing an independent system for the first time, and that is the reason they are jittering at the moment, she added.

PTI leader said the Model Town massacre comes into mind when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders talk about fascist mentality. Torture on women and elderly persons was a fascist behavior, she stressed.
