Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa takes top commanders into confidence over govt's 'tough economic measures'
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday has chaired 222nd Corps Commanders Conference at GHQ.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the forum reviewed geo strategic, regional and national security environment including India, Afghanistan and Iran including progress of ongoing stability operations under Operation Radd ul Fasaad.
The forum also reviewed ongoing operations and actions against proscribed organisations.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa apprised the forum about difficult but extremely essential long term beneficial measures taken by the government for improving & strengthening national economy.
"Pakistan is on positive trajectory of peace and development and shall carry forward the same towards enduring peace and prosperity", the COAS added.
