A total of Rs340 million had been spent on his treatment

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Responding to Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s speech in the Parliament, Federal Minister for Communication and Postal Services Murad Saeed on Monday said that the government has all the evidence and it will send bills and the previous rulers should return the money they spent illegally.

Speaking in the National Assembly, he responded strongly to the speech of Bilawal Bhutto and while criticizing him said that he doesn’t want to use the kind language used in Nawabshah, adding that if becoming chairman of the party on a chit is merit then he would salute the PPP chairman.

The minister said that if there is someone certified incompetent then he is former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif, adding that his daughter and PML-N vice president daily say Sharif never accepted salary.

He said that Sharif went abroad for treatment on special plane in 2016. A total of Rs340 million had been spent on his treatment, while Rs280.36 million had been spent on construction of Raiwind Road. A sum of Rs1 billion had been spent on the security of Jati Umra.

Saeed went on to say that according to a notification issued in 2017, a new helicopter worth Rs1.3 billion was purchased for former Punjab CM and Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and his various homes had been declared camp offices.

Shehbaz Sharif and his family members had also used plane of the prime minister, the minister said.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan is bearing all his expense himself and he also paid for the money spent on the construction of Bani Gala Road.
