Pakistan can benefit from China's expertise: PM Khan
Pak-China all-weather friendship is becoming an economic partnership
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A high-level Chinese delegation of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Consultative Committee called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday.
During the meeting, the prime minister said that Pak-China all-weather friendship is changing into an economic partnership, adding that Pakistan gives importance to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He said that agriculture, social, economic development and other sectors have been added in the CPEC, adding that the project has entered its second phase after inclusion of all these projects in the CPEC.
Imran Khan assured the delegation that Pakistan would take every possible step to make CPEC stronger and effective.
“Pakistan wanted to take advantage of Chinese experience and expertise in different sectors,” Khan said and added a cell would be established in the PM office to make the partnership and business more effective.
