LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has extended congratulations to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Federal Minister of State for Revenue Hammad Azher and their team for presenting a balanced and public-friendly federal budget for 2019-20 in the difficult circumstances.
The government has announced important steps for economic self-reliance and rectified past mistakes by identifying the priorities in the budget. He said that Pakistan will become self-reliant due to the steps announced in the budget and added that no better budget could be presented in the prevalent circumstances.
"The rich have been burdened and the common man has been given facilities and relief", he said.
The Chief Minister said that the upcoming budget depicts public expectations and no burden has been put on poor and low-income families. The budget will open the new avenues of development and it will also herald economic development in the country, he concluded.
