'Incompetent' PM conspiring to bring one-party rule: Bilawal Bhutto
'Incompetent' Imran Khan is conspiring to bring one-party rule: Bilawal Bhutto.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said Prime Minister Imran Khan is conspiring to bring one-party rule, and termed the premier incompetent.
Bilawal Bhutto held a press conference in the federal capital after appearing before a Combined Investigation Team (CIT) of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi for interrogation in the Park Lane Estates Company and Opal-225 – a joint venture of Zardari Group Ltd – cases.
He said the selected government cannot be endured anymore and announced that his party will stage protest against it on roads after Eid-ul-Fitr.
The PPP chairman said party workers were baton charged, women were arrested and tear gas was fired. He clarified that such tactics cannot scare them and demanded immediate release of PPP’s two female Members National Assembly (MNAs) who were detained. Is this the state of Medina, he asked.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardai stressed that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Pakistan’s economy cannot function together, and alleged that the incumbent government is threatening the anti-corruption watchdog.
The behavior of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government is synonymous to General (r) Pervez Musharraf’s regime and Imran Khan is using the state against his opponents, he affirmed.
While demanding production orders of MNA Ali Wazir, he said the speaker should give clarification that how was an assembly member arrested. Bilawal said PPP is gathering information regarding Waziristan from its own sources.
“Where are the authorities after the Waziristan incident? Why are prime minister and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mehmood Khan missing? We have the right to know what happened at the check post. Only democracy strengthens the federation.”
