PPP advises PML-N to change opposition leader in Punjab assembly
Hamza Shahbaz has no time to run parliamentary affairs as he is busy with the cases against him
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on Thursday while advising to change Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz asked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to nominate any other party leader for the post.
As per the details, PPP’s parliamentary leader Syed Hassan Murtaza said that Hamza Shahbaz is busy with the cases against him and his family members, adding that he has no time to run parliamentary affairs.
He said that the opposition failed to give tough time to the provincial government due to lack of contact between the opposition parties.
The PPP leadership complained that the PML-N didn’t even contact them regarding boycotting elections of the standing committees.
