ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said Sunday that mothers’ agonies could be addressed by bringing an end to the wars because a mother could see no one in distress.

In her message on World Mother Day, she said that the mother had given great sacrifices for the defence of the country.

Firdous said that mother and children were among the most affected people in the war-hit areas of the world.

She said motherhood was sacred and sincere relations which manifested the greatest sacrifices. She said mothers formed household which create societies.

The SAPM said that the world turn into darkness in absence of the mother as it was an ideal relationship. Even the nature also introduces itself as mother, she added.
