Nawaz Sharif protected his business rather than his health in 6 week bail: Firdous Awan
Firdous said that Sharif brothers attempt to misguide the nation has ended now.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Information Secretary Firdous Ashiq Awan said today (May 3) that Prime Minister claimed a victory as no corrupt, hinting at Shehbaz Sharif, was appointed as new Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman.
On May 2, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz( PML-N) parliamentary committee approved Rana Tanveer as PAC chairman and nominated former defence minister Khawaja Asif as the parliamentary leader in National Assembly.
She said that oppositions’ arguments were defeated by the PM as he upheld his stance from the start. She also said that former Premier Nawaz Sharif paid more attention to his business rather than his health in his six week bail.
“Imran Khan’s narrative regarding [Opposition Leader in the National Assembly] Shehbaz Sharif has been proved as truth. Prime Minister had said earlier that Shehbaz Sharif should not be appointed as the chairman of the Public Accounts’ Committee (PAC)”, She expressed.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, she said that the narrative based on lies has died down, and people have known reality about Sharif brothers, who have the only objective to go to London.
Information Secretary asserted that Nawaz Sharif did not get himself medically treated on any day of his bail which was granted to him on medical grounds. They have lied to the nation saying that they have to run the parliament, institutions should work freely and they have to give relief to the people. She said that their attempts to misguide the nation has ended now.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Farrukh Habib said that missing person ads have to be published as opposition s leader have been missing from Pakistan. “Looters should not be given any sort of relief as Shehbaz Sharif has escaped to London”, he added. He neither is acting as opposition leader nor PAC chairman.
Provincial Information Minister Samsam Bukhari said that Shehbaz’s priority isn’t to return to Pakistan so his separation from PAC is meaningless. Sharif brothers’ reality is unfolding in front of the nation.
“Shehbaz Sharif’s abandoning his post raises many questions. His priority is something else”, he stated.
He claimed that he informed beforehand that Shehbaz‘s health problem was not the issue but something else. He further said that money laundering case is reaching to a point of end.
