PML-N replaces Shehbaz Sharif with Rana Tanveer as PAC chairman
The decision was taken during the session of parliamentary party.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday has decided to make Rana Tanveer as Shehbaz Sharif’s replacement as Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman.
According to details, the decision was taken during the session of parliamentary party.
Meanwhile, PML-N leader Khawaja Asif has also been appointed as parliamentary leader of the party in National Assembly (NA) on the request of Shehbaz Sharif.
It is to be mentioned here that the decision was taken after Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif consulted with ex-PM Nawaz Sharif.
Shehbaz Sharif had claimed PAC chairmanship is predominantly the prerogative of the opposition. “PAC chairman will be appointed as per traditions of the NA, not through browbeat”, cleared PML-N president.
