Light rain in Lahore turns weather pleasant
Rain with gusty winds was also reported from other parts of Punjab.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Light rain with gusty winds in Lahore and its adjacent areas in on late Monday night turned the weather pleasant, Dunya News reported. Rain was also reported from other parts of Punjab including Faisalabad.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and may persist during next 2-3 days.
Met Office said mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot in south Punjab and Sindh during next 24 hours. However, dust-thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Mardan, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
