Lahore: Fire at godown causes huge loss
Three fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Fire broke out in Bilal Ganj area of Lahore on Friday night due the explosion of a transformer as a result a nearby godown caught fire, Dunya News reported.
Three fire brigade vehicles along with police and rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and brought the fire under control.
According to rescue sources, roof of the godown caught fire due to explosion of transformer and the fire spread very quickely and engulfed another nearby building. No loss of life was reported in the incident. Rescue sources said that goods worth millions of rupees were gutted in the blaze.
