Summary President Zardari said that the PPPs focus should be on the next general elections.
President and PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would take up some political responsibility in September this year.Addressing the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians and office bearers from the Gujranwala division at the president house, President Zardari said that despite facing negative propaganda against the government and the party, the PPP had not only survived but also made significant achievements on all fronts.President Zardari said that the PPP’s focus should be on the next general elections. He urged the party parliamentarians and office bearers to dedicate themselves for the welfare of the people. He also advised them to reach out to the people and make new political alignments.The meeting was attended by Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Information Minister Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan and Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar among others.
