LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has asked its lawmakers to resign from all parliamentary committees of Punjab assembly. The decision came following the government’s denial to make opposition leader in Punjab assembly Hamza Shehbaz chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

According to Dunya News sources, a meeting of PML-N’s parliamentary party has been convened on Saturday. The lawmakers would submit their resignations on Saturday’s meeting.

The sources further said that the party would decide how and when to use the option of resignations.

It is pertinent to mention here that PML-N had threatened to resign fro all committees if govt did not make Hamza chairman of PAC.

PML-N would consider all options stepwise if PTI government did not consider Hamza Shehbaz for the post of chairman PAC.
