Sukkur: Zakariya Express escapes major accident
Brakes of Zakariya Express engine failed at the Mehrabpur Railway Station on late Wednesday night.
SUKKUR (Dunya News) Zakariya Express escaped a major disaster when brakes of its engine failed at the Mehrabpur Railway Station near Sukkur on late Wednesday night.
According to Station Master of Mehrabpur Railway Station, the driver of the train showed presence of mind and diverted the train to loop track where the engine hit the sand dune and stopped.
Zakariya Express was on its way to Punjab from Karachi. No casualty was reported in the incident.
