Zardari phones Siraj, discusses current political situation in country
Asif Ali Zardari also congratulated Sirajul Haq on his re-election as amir of Jamaat-e-Islami.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday telephoned amir of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq and discussed current political situation in country, Dunya News reported.
Asif Ali Zardari also congratulated Sirajul Haq on his re-election as amir of Jamaat-e-Islami. He also stressed upon the need of cooperation between all political parties in the prevailing political condition.
The PPP co-chairman said that it would wrong to give more time to the government and added that all the parties have to be united against the government. Both the leaders also agreed on constant contacts between the political parties on the issues.
