Death toll in attack on Mufti Taqi Usmani rises to three
Mufti Amir Shahab, who was hurt in attack on Mufti Taqi Usmani, succumbed to his injuries.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Mufti Amir Shahab, who was wounded in attack on Mufti Taqi Usmani on March 22 near NIPA Chowrangi in Karachi, succumbed to his injuries at the Jinnah Hospital on Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
According to Dr Seemi Jamali, the executive director of Jinnah hospital, Mufti Amir Shahab had received bullet injuries in his chest and head in March 22 attack and was under treatment at the Jinnah Hospital where he died during treatment.
With the death of Mufti Amir Shahab, death toll in attack on Mufti Taqi Usmani has reached three. Two persons were killed on the spot while three others, including Mufti Amir Shahab, were wounded.
