MURIDKE (Dunya News) - Goods worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a godown situated in Piran Mandi Bazaar in Muridke, Dunya News reported.
Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control. According to eye-witnesses, the fire erupted during fireworks display on the occasion of Shab-e-Miraj. Rescue sources said that the car of the owner of the godown was also destroyed in the blaze.
Sources said that time action by Rescue 1122 teams saved a nearby market and residential buildings from the fire. No casualty was reported in the incident.
