PTI govt committed to eliminating corruption: Usman Buzdar
He said zero tolerance policy of the government against corruption is yielding positive results
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, is committed to eliminating corruption besides promoting the trend of transparency in the public affairs.
In a statement on Sunday, he said that the menace of corruption was a major obstacle in the progress of our country and in the past, Pakistan was badly harmed through plunder of national resources and corruption.
The chief minister said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government wanted across-the-board accountability of the corrupt elements and there was no room for such elements in new Pakistan.
He said, “Zero tolerance policy of the government against corruption is yielding positive results as we are taking effective measures at every step to eradicate corruption.”
