SHC approves 10-day protective bail of Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur in fake accounts case.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday approved 10-day protective bail of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur in fake accounts case.
The bail was granted against surety bonds worth Rs1 million and both leaders were directed to contact respective courts within 10 days. Farooq H. Naik represented PPP leaders in the SHC.
Party workers raised slogans upon the arrival of Asif Ali Zardari at the Sindh High Court but were reprimanded by the co-chairman.
Let it be known that the SHC had rejected Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur’s petitions seeking stay order in money laundering transfer case. The Sindh High Court remarked that the apex court has already ordered to shift the case to Islamabad.
