(Web Desk) – Marriages are made in heaven and it is often said there is that special someone for everyone waiting for the right time to take us forward on a lifetime full of bliss.
Love transcends all and cannot be held back by fences and borders. This holds true for the Sikh couple who got married in India belonging to the nuclear rivals India and Pakistan.
A Pakistani woman named Kiran Sarjeet Kaur, 27, married Parvinder Singh, 33, both tied the knot at Gurudwara Shri Khel Sahib in the Indian village of Tepla in Ambala district of Haryana.

Kiran Sarjeet Kaur and Parvinder Singh got engaged in 2016 following an arrangement sought by their families. Both spouses met each other for the first time in 2014 when Kiran went to visit their distant relatives in India.
Both have extended families living in India and Pakistan, Kiran’s family resided in Sialkot after partition in 1947, while Parvinder Singh family stayed over in India. Parvinder is the youngest child in his family and Kiran is a distant relative of his aunt.
Despite the miles between them, both of them made a commitment to spend the rest of their lives together, even though their marriage got delayed by a year as Singh couldn’t get the visa from Pakistan last year. Their families decided that Kiran’s family would make the voyage to India and will be married in holy matrimony.

The escalation in tensions after the Pulwama incident again hampered their travel plans but they didn’t stop trying and finally Kiran with her family departed for India last week on Samjhota Express on a 45-day visa.
Visa restrictions by the Indian Embassy in Pakistan allowed Kiran to only travel to Patiala, where again Parvinder Singh’s family had to travel, to finally tie the knot. Singh revealed that his wife Kiran would now apply for Indian citizenship to ease her stay with her husband.
Both the families were jubilant for finally their families were together binding the two forever.
