Production order is Khawaja Saad's right: PML-N's Abbasi
We want discussions to be held on the issues of the general public
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Friday asked National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser if he can issue production orders of party leader Khawaja Saad Rafique or not.
Talking to media outside the Parliament, he said that we want discussions to be held on the issues of the general public, adding that we want to run the session of the parliament.
The former premier said that any member of the government can be arrested in the future, adding production orders are their democratic right.
Abbasi went on to say that the Standing Committee on Railway had issued production orders of former minister and party leader Khawaja Saad Rafique but the NA speaker also stopped those orders.
The PML-N leader further asked if Asad Qaiser isn’t issuing production orders himself or being influenced by anyone.
