Pak-India tension: Parliamentary leaders to get in-camera briefing today
PM will take parliamentary parties leaders into confidences on the tense situation with India.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Leaders of parliamentary parties in the National Assembly (NA) will be given in-camera briefing at the Prime Minister’s office today (Wednesday) on the escalating Pakistan-India tension in the wake of violation of Line of Control (LoC) by Indian Air Force.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will take parliamentary parties leaders into confidences on the tense situation with India.
Military and foreign office officials will brief parliamentary leaders on current situation and answer their questions. The parliamentary leaders will also be informed about violation of Line of Control (LoC) by India and timely response by Pakistan Air Force.
The parliamentary parties leaders will be also informed about the professional preparations of armed forces and the fact and role being played by Pakistan to eliminate tension in the region.
The parliamentary leaders will also be briefed on the decisions taken by the National Security Committee and the National Command Authority in the wake of violation of Line of Control (LoC) by Indian Air Force.
