Two killed as car plunges into canal in Okara
Two people were killed when a car plunged into Lower Bari Doab Canal in Okara on Monday.
OKARA (Dunya News) – A man and his daughter were killed while two others were injured when a car plunged into Lower Bari Doab Canal in Okara on Monday.
According to details, a car collided with a truck due to over-speeding and skidded off the road and fell into Lower Bari Doab Canal, killing a man named Shahbaz and her five-year-old daughter.
Rescue teams reached the spot and rescued two other persons in injured condition. The injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. Police sources said that the dead and injured were residents of Okara.
