Funeral prayer of Pakistani girl killed by Indian forces offered in Narowal

Yesterday, her body was handed over to Pakistan rangers by Indian armed forces.

NAROWAL (Dunya News) – Funeral prayer of a 22-year-old Pakistani girl, who was killed in unprovoked firing by Indian forces across the Wagha border after unintentionally crossing into India, has been offered at her native village of Tajpura in Narowal on Sunday.

The girl was mentally disabled and succumbed to her injuries after being shot multiple times three days ago.

Yesterday, her body was handed over to Pakistan rangers by Indian armed forces.

Her postmortem and medico-legal formalities were performed at the District Hospital Narowal.

Former interior minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader Ahsan Iqbal also attended her funeral alongside hundreds of villagers.
