UN Security Council does not consider Pulwama attack as terrorism.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – India was humiliated once again at the diplomatic level when Pakistan’s name was not mentioned in the declaration by the UN Security Council condemning Pulwama attack, Dunya News reported on Friday.
New Delhi tried everything possible to involve Pakistan’s name in the statement and tried to use American influence as well but its efforts went in vain. Multiple countries were briefed in New Delhi regarding the attack.
The international community rejected India’s propaganda and it was a victory for Islamabad when Pakistan’s name was not mentioned in the declaration. Pakistan had also clarified its stance to different countries regarding the Pulwama incident.
The UN Security Council declaration was issued after 7 days of the attack.
Pulwama attack
At least 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers were killed in Indian-occupied Kashmir in one the deadliest attacks. The attack saw explosives packed inside a van rip through buses in a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying some 2,500 members of the paramilitary CRPF.
Two blue buses carrying around 35 people each bore the brunt of the massive blast, heard miles away, around 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the city of Srinagar on the main highway to Jammu.
