Rain lashes parts of country
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Friday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Rain lashed parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan on Thursday. Rainfall was reported in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Faisalabad and Murree.
It drizzled in Abbottabad and Quetta, and risk of land sliding increased in Gilgit, Skardu, Chitral, Swat and Kalam after snow falling. Link roads were closed in Azad Kashmir’s district Bagh after snowing.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Friday. However, rain thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
