Verdict on Zains petition withheld

The IHC on Wednesday withheld verdict on Zain Sukhera petition.

Ministry of Science and Technology’s former consultant Zain Sukhera had filed a plea for dismissal of an FIA case, registered against him for holding fake degree.Zain’s counsel told the court that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had misused its power to register the case. He said that the university concerned was only eligible to register a case against the fake degree holder, therefore, the court should quash the FIR.After the completion of the arguments, the court withheld the verdict.Earlier, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had allowed the FIA to arrest Zain Sukhera.
