Lahore: 175 arrested in police crackdown against kite flyers
Police arrested 175 persons during crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 175 persons were arrested during police crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
The crackdown was launched on the instruction of DIG operations Waqas Nazir. Police also recovered hundreds of kites and spools of kite string from the arrested persons.
Sources said that cases have been registered at various police stations of the city against kite flyers.
