Summary Rescue officials arrived at the scene and started rescuing the people from the rubble.
At least two accused in police custody and three constables were injured as the roof of the Civil Lines Police Station collapsed. The injured were shifted to the Allied Hospital and were reported to be in a stable condition.Lyallpur Town Superintendent Police, Asmat Ali said that the police station building collapsed due to an explosion. He said that an investigation has started on whether the explosive material was kept in the police station or was brought in. He added that about four kilogramme of explosive material was used in the explosion.After receiving the reports, the rescue team arrived at the scene and started to extract people buried under the rubble. Three rooms of the police station have damaged in the explosion.Later, the bomb disposal squad found a suicide jacket and three handgrenades from the building.
