BNP decides not to quit alliance with govt

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Balochistan National Party (BNP) on Wednesday decided not to quit alliance with ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

BNP chief Akhtar Mengal presided over a meeting of the party’s central executive committee.

During the meeting, the party leadership decided to continue alliance with ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Talking to media after the meeting, Akhtar Mengal said that the meeting reviewed six-points agenda.

He said that the government was not providing jobs, while the government has not yet taken steps regarding missing persons.

The BNP chief said that a committee has been formed for the resolution of issues and the committee would apprise the party about matters with the government.
