Polling for Senate seat in Balochistan ends

Five candidates including Manzoor Ahmad and Ghulam Nabi are contesting for the seat.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Polling time for one vacant seat of Senate from Balochistan has ended at the Provincial Assembly’s building in Quetta.

Five candidates are in race for the seat, which had fallen vacant due to sudden death of Senator, late Sardar Azam Khan Mussa Khel last month.

The seat in the upper house of the parliament fell vacant after death of Senator of Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) and chief of Musakhel tribe Sardar Muhammad Azam Khan Musakhel.

Azam Khan Musakhel was elected senator in 2015.
