Khairpur: Two killed in van, trailer collision
Two people were killed and nine others were wounded in van, trailer collision in Khairpur on Sunday.
KHAIRPUR (Dunya News) – At least two people were killed and nine others were wounded when a speeding trailer collided with a van at Mehran National Highway in Pir Wasan area near Khairpur on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
The ill-fated van was carrying the Umrah pilgrims when it was hit by a speeding trailer in Pir Wasan area, killing two persons on the spot and injuring nine others.
Eye-witnesses said women and children were also among the injured.
Police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital with the help of local residents. Police have also arrested the driver of the trailer.
