Cold, dry weather expected in parts of country: PMD

Rain-thunderstorm with snow over hills is expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

Mainly very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However more rain-thunderstorm with snow over the hills is expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Foggy conditions are expected in South Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.

Rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Kohat, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at isolated places in Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha and Peshawar divisions. Snowfall over the mountains occurred in Murree, Gilliyat, Malakand division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the period.
