Light rain in Lahore turns weather cold
Met Office has predicted more rain in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Light rain in parts of Lahore and its surroundings in the wee hours of Saturday increased the intensity of cold and provided relief from fog, Dunya News reported.
Rain was also reported in other cities of Punjab including Wazirabad, Sheikhupura, Sangla Hill, Phalia, Bhalwal, Chiniot, Muridke and Gurjrat. Rain was also reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which brought the mercury further down.
According to Met Office, rain-thunderstorm with snow over the hills is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, Sargodha, Sahiwal and Gujranwala divisions during the next 24 hours. Weather will remain cold and dry weather in other parts of the country.
