SC approves plea to unfreeze Bahria Town bank accounts
CJP said that the name of the Bahria Town should be changed now.
ISLAMABAD ((Dunya News) – The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday has approved plea to unfreeze the Bahria Town accounts in fake bank accounts case.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar heard the case and ordered to unfreeze the accounts of Bahria Town and Malir Development Authority.
CJP said that the name of the Bahria Town should be changed now.
The top judge also declared that the order to seize accounts was for some specific accounts and for a limited time period just for monitoring purpose.
