Gujranwala: Boy kidnapped for ransom found dead
Police have claimed that two accused have been arrested and further investigation is ongoing.
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - The dead body of a 13-year-old boy kidnapped for ransom from Baghbanpura area of Gujranwal was recovered on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, 13-year-old Hanzala Irfan son of Irfan Yousuf went missing last month when he went to drop his aunt to her house. Hanzala’s parents filed a complaint about his kidnapping by police failed to trace him.
Parents informed media that the abductors demanded Rs 10 million from them to release Hanzala. However, police recovered the dead body of the boy on Tuesday. Police have also claimed that two accused have been arrested and further investigation is ongoing.
