Lahore: PML-N wins four general councillor seats in UCs by-polls

PML-N won four out of six general councillor seats in UCs by-polls held in Lahore on Friday.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won four general councillor seats in polling held on Friday in Lahore for by-election on general councillor seats in six Union Councils (UCs). Pakistan Tehreek-e-Inasf (PTI) grabbed the other two seats.

PTI’s Azeem-ur-Rehman was declared winner from UC-65 while PML-N’s Adeel Ahmad was declared winner from UC-30.

The PTI candidate Farooq Ahmad won the general councillor seat from UC-148 while PML-N’s Amjad Hussain secured the seat from UC-168. PML-N candidates Raheel Hussain and Asghar Bhatti were declared winners from UC-172 and UC-224 respectively.
