It is the right of the media workers to protest against torture on a TV channel cameraman
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi on Tuesday said that it is the responsibilty of the State to protect the lives of people.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that it is the right of the media workers’ to protest against torture on a TV channel cameraman.
“No one in this country is above the law,” he added.
The state minister urged the parents to keep a close watch on their children who have access to modern media gadgets and falling prey to these elements.
Afridi categorically stated that strict action will continue against the drug mafia which is targeting our youth in educational institutions.
The minister of state said all the black sheep within the law enforcing institutions will also be taken to task for their collusion with the drug barons.
