Summary The CNG stations continued to strike against gas load shedding in Punjab on Thursday.

The CNG stations in Faisalabad, Multan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other parts of the province are closed on the strike call of the All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA). The CNG stations observed a partial strike on Wednesday that was joined by few petrol pumps.Talking to the media in Islamabad, APCNGA Chairman Ghayas Paracha said that injustice with CNG stations would not be tolerated. He said that all CNG stations in Punjab were closed but the government was not doing anything for resolving the issue. According to the Sui Northern Gas Pipe Lines (SNGPL), the strike is unnecessary and due to the recent militants’ attacks at the gas pipelines, gas supply to the CNG stations has been reduced to five-days a week.
