The Supreme Court is about to start hearing the presidential reference about the retrial of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s (ZAB) case on Thursday.Yesterday, federal law minister Babar Awan presented a copy of his resignation before a three-member Supreme Court bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to plead the ZAB case.The CJP said that no one should have a doubt about the credibility of the court, adding that he was glad that Awan had resigned to plead the case.He said that it was a case of great significance and Awan would help the court with his expertise.
