Faisalabad: Couple arrested for kidnapping newborn baby
Police recovered a four-day-old newborn baby abducted from Allied Hospital Faisalabad.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Police from Civil Lines Police Station carried out an operation in Malkhanwala area of Faisalabad on Monday and recovered a four-day-old newborn baby who was abducted from Allied Hospital a day before, Dunya News reported.
Police also arrested Sana Bibi, who had kidnapped the baby, and her husband Nazir Ahmad during the operation.
Police sources said that Sana Bibi under the name of Fatima and showing herself as hospital employer had kidnapped newborn baby from the hospital. Police had also obtained the CCTV footage of the incident. Police sources also informed that the couple wanted to sell the child.
