Int'l Human Rights Day observed
Human Rights Day is observed across the globe every year on December 10.
(Web Desk) – Pakistan on Monday, December 10, joined the rest of the world to commemorate the International Human Rights Day to raise awareness and inculcate the importance of human rights in the minds of the people especially for the oppressed and victims of tyranny.
Human Rights Day is observed across the globe every year on December 10 – the day the United Nations General Assembly adopted, in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
This year, Human Rights Day marks the 71st anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a milestone document that proclaimed the inalienable rights which everyone is inherently entitled to as a human being – regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
According to the UN, "Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more, so, everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination.

Is to observe the International Human Rights Day every year on December 10 in the splendid style at magnificent buildings with dinner parties enough?
