Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam had the vision and will to create an Islamic Welfare State

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that the State of Madina built by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and The Righteously Guided Caliphs (RA) was based on democracy, equity, justice and the rule of law.

Addressing the students belonging to Balochistan, he said that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave the world its first ever constitution, that provided women equal rights including rights of inheritance and provided equity and justice to minorities.

The prime minister said that the 200 million Muslims of India today have neither leadership nor representation.

He said that Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam had the vision and will to create an Islamic Welfare State for the Muslims of the subcontinent.

Khan said: “We are working to uplift Balochistan and bringing it up to par with the rest of the country and we are focused on the development and prosperity of our Baloch brothers.”
