New oil, gas reserves discovered in Sanghar
Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has announced discovery of oil and gas reserves in Sanghar District
SANGHAR (Dunya News) - Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has announced the discovery of oil and gas reserves in Gambat area in Sanghar District of Sindh province, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
According to PPL sources, during the initial short duration tests carried out, the well flowed oil at the average rate of 160 barrels and 18.6MMSCFD of gas per day.
According to authorities, the discovery was good news for the nation and the energy sector of Pakistan. The discovery of new oil and gas reservoirs were “vital” to cope with the prevailing energy shortage in the country.
