Polling for PB-47 by-election to be held today
The voting for PB-47 Kech-III will start at 8:00am and will continue till 5:00pm without interval.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Voting for the Balochistan Assembly constituency PB-47 Kech-III by-election will be held today (Thursday), Dunya News reported.
The seat fell vacant after Election Commission dismissed the election of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) candidate Abdul Rauf Rind in 2018 general election on dual nationality.
According to Provincial Election Commissioner Niaz Muhammad Khan, preparations for by election in PB-47 Kech-III have been completed. The voting will start at 8:00am and will continue till 5:00pm without interval.
He said that 60 polling stations have been established in the constituency out of which seven are for male and seven for female while 46 are mutual. He further said levies force and Frontier Corps personnel had been deployed at the polling stations to ensure peace in the areas for holding by-election.
