PTI govt will invest in education sector: PM Imran
The prime minister says all developed countries have progressed through knowledge economy
SIALKOT (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will invest more and more in the education sector.
Addressing the inauguratin ceremony of new campus of Women University in Sialkot, he said that investment in the higher education sector is vital for the progress and prosperity of a nation.
The prime minister said that all the developed countries have progressed through knowledge economy and by adding value to their human capital.
Khan further emphasized on promoting Pakistani students to the information technology for swift development, adding that our population can become our strength if we guide our youth to higher education and quality education.
“We have formed government during tough times,” Khan said and added we will soon come out of difficult time.
The reason why Pakistan didn’t progress is due to lack of concentration on education, he added.
