He was addressing ceremony in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – While terming National Accountability Bureau (NAB) a ‘role model’ for South Asian countries, the premier anti-graft watchdog chairman Justice (rtd) Javed Iqbal on Wednesday revealed that efforts to apprehend absconders have been expedited.
He was addressing ceremony in Islamabad.
The chairman added that mega-corruption cases would be solved on priority basis while making it overtly clear that no individual can ‘influence’ the investigation process.
He added that NAB has crafted comprehensive strategy to root out corruption while adding that officials of the anti-graft watchdog are doing ‘indiscriminate probe’ to solve mega-corruption cases on priority basis.
He went on to say that premier anti-graft watchdog would not bow down before any pressure.
